Here at Global Auctioneers, we are always happy to offer valuations for you, our prospective sellers, prior to adding items to our auctions. Our Manchester based team has a wealth of knowledge in a wide area of expertise. We auction a wide range of surplus stock, bankrupt products, customer returns and graded goods so get in touch if you would like to sell with us.

Who are we?

Global Auctioneers are the UK’s premier auction house. We combine the traditional elements of an auction with a modern e-commerce twist to offer a simplified and streamlined customer experience.

Our auctions

Our auctions are packed with an extensive range of new goods, graded items, liquidated stock and customer returns, including furniture, homeware, soft furnishings, electronics, appliances, white goods, designer handbags, luxury jewellery fashion, fragrances, cosmetics and tiles.

Diverse range of stock

Global Auctioneers sell products from a diverse variety of vendors ranging from multi-national brands to local businesses. Our weekly sales are stocked with items of various different values, quantities and conditions.

We partner with leading upmarket retailers, manufacturers and distributors, including John LewisWayfairSwoon, Made and Johnson Tiles.

Some of our most popular blue chip high-end brands include Bosch, Neff, Shark, Samsung, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Dior, Burberry and Chanel.

Our loyal customer base

Our diverse pool of bidders ranges from traders and small businesses to individual consumers and landlords both in the UK and internationally.

We despatch stock across the country so people can bid from the comfort of their own home wherever they live. Also, as the name suggests, we are a global business and have shipped goods to over 20 overseas countries in the past 12 months.

Global Auctioneers premises

Our auction house is located in the heart of Manchester close to the Etihad Stadium with a large 50,000 square foot premises where we store vendors stock at no cost.

With free parking and extensive transport links, our premises is based in a strategic location for customers, vendors and couriers.

In-house marketing

Global’s in-house Marketing Department actively promotes stock from all vendors in upcoming sales via the Global Auctioneers website and through social media campaigns, eshots to a database of over 38,000 people, Google and digital advertisements and billboards.

We also develop marketing campaigns in collaboration with the iBidder platform reaching over 250,000 bidders across the world.

Lotting and cataloguing 

Our experienced team lot and catalogue stock in an efficient manner utilising innovative technology to take the burden away from vendors. Items are uploaded to the Global Auctioneers website and the iBidder platform where a large and expanding customer base can immediately place bids at the tip of their fingers.

We take the risk

As an auction house, all goods are sold as seen, therefore no warranty is provided and returns are not accepted. This ensures there are no repercussions to your business, and we can sell products in different conditions.

Results-based commission structure

We operate using a result driven commission structure whereby fees are only charged on items sold. Given our commercial success is based on the sale of goods to the highest bidder, we always provide a maximum return on your goods in a timely manner.

Taking on the burden

We take direct responsibility of the full sales process, including marketing, storage, lotting, cataloguing, customer services, payments, administration, shipping and reporting. We take responsibility for the risk, burden, and hassle to simplify the process for our vendors.
